NAPLES SPEED LEAGUE

Calling ALL Athletes!! 

Welcome to SWFL's first-ever competitive league for Team Sprinting: NAPLES SPEED LEAGUE!

Think of your traditional sports league (soccer, football, basketball) - but tailored specifically for SPRINTING events: 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter and the relays: 4x100 and 4x400! Teams compete head-to-head in individual and relay sprints. This is where an athlete's speed will score points for their team to compete for the title of the fastest team - and athletes - in Naples!

The objective of the Naples Speed League (NSL) is to help athletes from ALL sports to GET FASTER in a fun and competitive way! With limited track opportunitines in the Naples area, the NSL is thrilled to offer an exciting 4 week speed-focused competitve racing league facilitated with excellence.

Each athlete will be placed on a team with a dedicated coach to receive training and the opportunity to compete in various professionally timed-sprinting races! Each team will rally around their members with cheering and encouragement. Excellent sportsmanship is a must. 

The NSL will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30p - 9:00p at The Village School of Naples Track on July 10, 17, 24, 31

6:30p - 7:15p:  Warm-ups & Training 

7:15p - 9:00p:  Competitive Races (professional track meet live timing results) 

Elementary (3rd-5th), Middle School & High School - Boys & Girls welcome! 

Team rosters will be randomly selected and represent both boys and girls. 

Weeks 1-3:

Teams will compete head-to-head for top scoring team.

Week 4: 

Teams compete head-to-head for top scoring team to earn Gold medals while individual athletes will compete for Top Performer medals.  Top performer medals will be presented for both fastest Boys and Girls for each event.

$200 per athlete: includes official Naples Speed League athletic competition tank (must be worn each week), coaching fees, equipment & facility expenses, USA Track & Field utilized timing facilitation by Pure Gold Timing.
